What we're trained to do.

From kitchen fires to highway extrications — the district is an all-hazards response agency for our coverage area.

Structure Fires

Residential, commercial, and agricultural structures. Engine 4112, Ladder 4119, and a full complement of interior attack gear.

Vehicle Extrication

Hydraulic rescue tools for accidents on I-64, Route 161, and rural roads. Regular joint training with mutual-aid partners.

Medical Assist

Trained first responders supporting the New Baden Ambulance for cardiac, trauma, and lift-assist calls.

Storm & Water

Flood response, tree-downs, roof tarping, and storm damage mitigation after severe weather events.

Fire Prevention

Free smoke alarm checks, school visits, pre-incident surveys, and community education throughout the year.

Mutual Aid

Coordinated response with Clin-Clair, Sugar Creek, Trenton, Mascoutah, Aviston, O'Fallon, and Scott AFB.
